Guided visit of the Matisse Museum
The Matisse Museum is situated on the hill of Cimiez, not far from the Franciscan monastery with its Italianate gardens, the Hotel Regina where Matisse used to reside, and the Gallo-Roman ruins. Since the 5th of January 1963 the Museum has been welcoming vistors to its collection of works left by the artist (and his heirs) to the city of Nice where he lived from 1918 until 1954. http://www.musee-matisse-nice.org/

Welcome cocktail, with a wine tasting workshop
After the guided visit, a welcome reception will take place at the Valrose theatre at the University.

Gala dinner
The gala dinner will take place at the “Palais de la Méditerranée” (casino, palace and restaurant), on the seafront, overlooking the famous promenade des anglais and the seafront.
